Why BritsDoc
The knowledge others
have lost

Ralf Grafe
Founder of BritsDoc
When Rover disappeared, much of the technical knowledge, diagnostic capability and manufacturer support surrounding its vehicles disappeared with it.
Today, many authorised dealers and general workshops no longer have the original equipment, software or experience required to diagnose British vehicles from this period.
BritsDoc has preserved and developed this expertise through practical work with owners, specialist workshops and dealers.
Our work includes electronic fault diagnosis, control-unit repair, immobiliser and alarm solutions, original diagnostic equipment and specialist interfaces and adaptors.

Sending a component to
BritsDoc
Most items are processed shortly after arrival. Return shipping is normally handled using tracked DHL parcel services.
Express shipping can be arranged where appropriate.
For units sent to Germany from outside the EU for repair and subsequent return, please clearly declare the shipment as “Defective items – for repair and return only”.
Based on the guidance we have received from the German customs authorities, a customs value of €45 should be declared for this repair shipment. This helps customs distinguish the temporary repair process from a normal import or sale.
Please contact us before shipping so that we can provide the correct recipient details and confirm the documentation required for your country and carrier.
For repair-and-return shipments from outside the EU, we do not recommend DHL Express. In our experience, its procedures do not handle this type of temporary repair shipment reliably and can result in avoidable delays, additional documentation and extra charges.
We recommend using FedEx, UPS or a standard tracked postal parcel service instead.
