In most cases, your Rover will be equipped with a Lucas 5AS immobilizer. The way it works, sometimes depends which engine is installed. The Rover K-Series Engines use a different coding scheme than the Honda PGMFi Engines. We can help in both cases.
This does cover adding or repairing your Keyfobs, or bypassing the system altogehter.

Products & Services

Your Classic Injection Mini is equipped with a Lucas 5AS Immobilizer, which often causes trouble after many years of use. We can bypass your Immobilizer with our bullet proof bypass module.
Of course, we can also help in case you lost your remote Keyfobs or when they stopped working.

Quite often also the ECU is known to cause problems. Battery drain, failed emission tests and bad idle are signs of a faulty ECU. We can inspect, test & repair your ECU that it is working like new again.

In case you modified your Engine, it could result in the ECU beeing unable to cope with the new setup. We can provide consultancy how to get things sorted. Just get in touch with us.

The immobilizer system in your MG changed over the years. While in the early models the Lucas 5AS System was used, the later Models used the Pektron System. You can spot the difference by the ook of the Keyfobs. The Lucas System use the black two rubber button remotes, the Pektron system uses the grey lenticular remotes.
Both can be bypassed but the central locking function can be maintained.
This ensures the vehicle to be drivable at all times, just using the keys only, in case the keyfobs fail or get lost.

We can also add new keyfobs to your Pektron or Lucas System, if desired.
